Leonora Barbieri was born in Milan, Italy. Since she was a little girl she has always had a passion for drawing, painting, music and dance.
Growing up she didn't know which path to take, until she started art school: in fact, is at "Liceo Artistico U. Boccioni" in Milan that Leonora founds inspiration, new motivations and many artist friends with whom she collaborate and exchange ideas.
Here she organized exposition with other students, tooks part in workshops and laboratories, meanwhile she pursued her other passions, such as dance, piano and music in general.

Graduated in Painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Milan, Leonora continued her studies under the New Technologies address of the Visual Arts department. Between the 2012/2013 academic year Leonora participated in the Erasmus project in the Netherlands, in Rotterdam, at the Willem de Kooning Academie Hogeschool, following the Fine Art course.

Leonora exhibited for the first time outside Italy at the collective exhibition "The Imaginary Beings - an Art, Music & Performance Fundraising Extravaganza" on October 8 2011, in Plymoth, UK, with the work "Look from within".

In December 2012 she participated in the exhibition "the Visitor", at the Willem de Kooning with other Erasmus students, where she exhibited the prototype of the installation “Just Talk”, and in April 2013 she organized an event at the Gallery RR, in Rotterdam, to record short movies for the same project.

In 2014 Leonora graduated from the New Technologies course at the Brera Academy and the following year she started teaching Art in middle and high schools. Since than she has studied and trained to become a full-fledged Art Teacher and in June 2022 she became a tenured teacher.

However, she never stopped painting, in fact in 2019 she increased the use of digital arts, in particular using Photoshop, various graphic tablets and Procreate, to develop new works and increasingly expand her knowledge.

In 2021 Leonora finally opened her personal website and started selling her works online.

Today she is a teacher of Art and Image, Artist and illustrator.
