There were two images leaked that go into full detail about Insomniac's upcoming Venom: Lethal Protector project. The game is going to take place after the events of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and is intended to lead the story into Spider-Man 3, the release date of which also got leaked (It is planned to be released late 2028). The leaked image also details that you will be able to switch between Venom, Peter, and Miles while going through the "Carnage-infected NYC boroughs."

The second leaked image reveals their plans for both the release date and the pricing of the game. Venom: Lethal Protector is planned to be released in the second quarter of 2025, with a price point of $49.99. As with other Insomniac games, it will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5, and the game is going to be an action-adventure, similar to the Spider-Man games.

Now, it's important to note that just because Todd hints the game is coming this September doesn't mean it actually is. We should remain cautious about an official release date or release month until it comes from developer Insomniac Games. But September lines up with the previously revealed Fall window.
