I am a PhD student in Linguistics at the University of Cambridge.
My main research area is generative syntax. My doctoral project (funded by the AHRC and the Cambridge Trust) focuses on the syntax of non-active constructions, including passives (the apple was eaten), middles (these books read easily) and tough-constructions (these books are tough to read) in Romance languages (especially Italo- and Ibero-Romance) and Greek.
Before starting my PhD, I received an MA in Linguistics and Cognitive Studies from the University of Siena in 2022.
I am also co-chair of the Cambridge University Linguistics Society and a member of the Romance Linguistics Circle organising committee.
