Hamlet was my first experience with working on a collegiate performance. In this fascinating show adapted and directed by Matt Foss, I portrayed one of the three Hamlets set in this experimental Shakespearian world. It was such a wonderful learning experience and a fascinating look into the many ways that theater can be interpreted... and that creativity is truly limitless.
In 2023 I had the wonderful experience of working on The Diary of Anne Frank adapted by Wendy Kesselman and directed by Matt Foss. Having the opportunity to play Peter was not only a gratifying source of experience as an actor, but as a Jewish actor, it was such a profound and touching performance to be a part of, creating memories I will always hold close.
In 2024, I had the great joy of working on the University of Toledo's Festival of New Student Work. This performance featured several short plays that were written, directed, designed, and performed by students. I had the opportunity to portray roles from two very different pieces. I played Chance from The Summer We Stole the Sandlot from Blockbuster Video written by Karson Palmer and directed by Gerardo Nieves, and Jordan from The Day the Kidz Stopped Boppin' written by Seth Camiscione and directed by Tevy Dembski. It was not only a great opportunity to learn from and collaborate with other students, but it was also a gosh darn fun time.
In 2025, I had the great joy of once again participating in the University of Toledo's Festival of New Student Work.
A zany Christmas comedy, Every Christmas Story Ever Told... And Then Some, was a delight to perform in and let loose as an actor. One thing I have learned through my years of acting: you should never be afraid to embarass yourself on stage... if you're feeling outside of your comfort zone... you're probably doing something right!
