I’m Leonardo Ferrari, an assistant professor of mathematics working at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. My main research interests are in the interactions between hyperbolic geometry, combinatorics, and algebraic topology.
I have been particularly interested in the problems of totally geodesic embeddings and geometric boundaries of hyperbolic manifolds. But other research interests include isometries of hyperbolic manifolds, the geometry of hyperbolic rational homology spheres, the geometry and topology of small covers and colorings of right-angled polytopes, and the uniformization problem for complex algebraic curves.
