I'm a mathematical physicist working primarily in the foundations of quantum mechanics,  with interests also in quantum information, computation, field theory and more recently quantum gravity.

My motivation is to understand as much as possible about what quantum theory says about the world, and believe that mathematical precision in the theoretical description is important in achieving conceptual precision in understanding the physics, and as such I aim for as much rigour as is possible.

On this website you'll find my publications, preprints, some information about the courses I've been involved in teaching (eventually with, I hope, some material which may be of use to others),  a CV and a general description of who I am.
