Together, the Carter School Working Group on Forgiveness and Reconciliation (WGFR) explored the transformative power of forgiveness and reconciliation through the life and lens of an aging child survivor of the Holocaust, Richard Wiener. An author and poet, Richard speaks widely on the subject of forgiveness and reconciliation, and was made an honorary citizen of his German hometown Wittenberg as a result of this work.

On Abolition - Opening Night of SHOUT Week at Colby College 2022
This is my first peer-reviewed academic journal article, a de-identified telling of my journey from numerous childhood traumas through healing and spiritual growth. Follow Joseph as he goes from a spiritually confused and traumatized child to a healed and spiritually grounded adult, walking through a Restorative Justice process while incarcerated. This article has been re-published as an eBook chapter by Vide Leaf.
