1. Introduction

Welcome to LensWise: Hidden Camera Detector ("LensWise", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LensWise mobile application, website, features, content, paid products, subscriptions, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

LensWise is a privacy inspection and room safety check application. It provides tools such as guided room safety checks, WiFi scanning, Bluetooth scanning, infrared and lens reflection checks, magnetic field scanning, local network device discovery, room inspection checklists, history records, and PDF report export.

By downloading, accessing, purchasing, subscribing to, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms shown in the app, on Google Play, or during the purchase process.

2. Definitions

"App" means the LensWise: Hidden Camera Detector Android application.

"Services" means the App, website, paid features, subscriptions, in-app purchases, support services, and related features provided by LensWise.

"User", "you", or "your" means any individual who accesses or uses the Services.

"Content" means any information, scan results, reports, notes, checklists, text, images, screenshots, files, PDF reports, feedback, or other materials created, uploaded, exported, shared, or submitted through the Services.

"Paid Features" means features, tools, reports, scan functions, export options, or other app capabilities that require payment, a pass, subscription, or in-app purchase.

"7-Day Travel Pass" means a short-term access option that provides access to selected paid features for seven days. If offered as a one-time purchase, it does not automatically renew.

"Subscription" means a recurring paid plan, such as monthly or annual access, that renews automatically unless canceled according to the applicable platform rules.

"Third-Party Services" means services provided by third parties, including Google Play, Google Play Billing, advertising networks, analytics providers, crash reporting tools, payment processors, hosting providers, or other service providers.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms to use the Services. If you are under the age required by applicable law, you may use the Services only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

LensWise may not require account registration for basic use. If account registration, login, cloud sync, purchase verification, or other account-based features are made available, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

You are responsible for keeping your device, account credentials, purchase account, exported reports, and shared files secure. We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to protect your device, account, or exported files.

4. Description of Services

LensWise provides privacy inspection tools to help users check rooms, hotels, rental spaces, offices, private areas, and other environments for potential privacy risks.

The Services may include:

• Guided 7-step room safety checks

• WiFi scanning

• Bluetooth scanning

• Local network device discovery

• Infrared light inspection

• Lens reflection checking

• Magnetic field scanning

• Room inspection checklist

• Scan history and inspection records

• PDF report export

• Travel Pass, monthly access, annual access, or other paid features

• Safety tips and privacy inspection guidance

LensWise is intended to assist with personal privacy awareness and room safety inspection. It is not a professional surveillance detection device, law enforcement tool, certified security audit system, or guaranteed method for detecting all hidden cameras, microphones, trackers, or surveillance devices.

5. Detection Results and Important Disclaimer

Detection results may vary depending on many factors, including but not limited to:

• Your phone model

• Android version

• Camera hardware

• Magnetic sensor availability and accuracy

• WiFi and Bluetooth permissions

• Network access

• Lighting conditions

• Distance from suspicious objects

• Device placement

• Signal strength

• Hidden device design

• Environmental interference

• User operation

• Local laws and system restrictions

No mobile app can guarantee detection of every hidden camera, microphone, tracker, recording device, or surveillance device.

LensWise may help you identify suspicious signals, reflections, magnetic changes, network devices, or environmental clues, but it cannot confirm with absolute certainty whether a hidden device exists. You should always manually inspect suspicious objects and, when necessary, seek assistance from property management, local authorities, qualified security professionals, or other appropriate parties.

You agree that you are solely responsible for your interpretation of scan results and any actions you take based on the Services.

6. App Permissions

To provide its features, LensWise may request permissions such as:

• Camera permission, for infrared and lens reflection checks

• Bluetooth or nearby device permission, for Bluetooth scanning

• WiFi or network access, for WiFi scanning and local network device discovery

• Location-related permission, where required by Android for WiFi, Bluetooth, or nearby device scanning

• Notification permission, where applicable

• Storage, media, or document access, where needed for PDF export, file saving, or sharing

You may deny or disable permissions through your device settings. However, some features may not work properly without the required permissions.

You agree to grant permissions only when you understand their purpose and to use the Services in accordance with applicable laws, platform rules, and safety guidelines.

7. Paid Features, Travel Pass, Subscriptions, and Payments

Certain features of the Services may require payment, a 7-Day Travel Pass, monthly access, annual access, subscription, or other in-app purchase.

7.1 7-Day Travel Pass

LensWise may offer a 7-Day Travel Pass for users who need short-term access during travel, hotel stays, Airbnb rentals, business trips, vacations, or temporary room safety checks.

If the 7-Day Travel Pass is offered as a one-time purchase:

• You pay once for seven days of access

• The pass does not automatically renew

• Access ends automatically after the pass period expires

• No cancellation is needed to stop renewal, because it does not renew

The exact price, duration, included features, and availability will be shown before purchase.

7.2 Monthly and Annual Subscriptions

LensWise may offer monthly or annual subscription plans for users who want ongoing access to paid features.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date according to Google Play or the applicable payment platform rules. Subscription prices, billing periods, renewal terms, trial availability, and cancellation rules will be displayed before purchase.

You are responsible for reviewing the payment screen before confirming a purchase.

7.3 Billing and Payment Processing

Payments may be processed by third-party platforms such as Google Play Billing. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card information.

By making a purchase, you agree to the applicable payment platform’s terms, billing rules, refund rules, and subscription management policies.

7.4 Price Changes

We may change prices, features, trial availability, pass options, or subscription plans from time to time. Price changes will apply according to applicable law and the rules of the payment platform.

7.5 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to Google Play or the applicable payment platform’s refund policy, unless otherwise required by law.

We may be unable to issue refunds directly for purchases processed by third-party platforms. Please contact the relevant platform for refund requests where required.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful, personal, and legitimate privacy inspection purposes.

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights

• Conduct illegal surveillance or unauthorized monitoring

• Access, scan, interfere with, or attack networks or devices without permission

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or harm others

• Trespass on private property

• Misrepresent scan results or use reports for fraudulent purposes

• Use the Services as a substitute for professional security, legal, or law enforcement advice

• Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or tamper with the App except where permitted by law

• Circumvent payment, subscription, licensing, or access controls

• Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or scraping methods to access the Services

• Upload, transmit, or share harmful, illegal, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content

• Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Services

• Use the Services in a way that could damage, disable, overload, or impair our systems or third-party systems

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the Services in a harmful, unlawful, or abusive manner.

9. User Content and Reports

LensWise may allow you to create, save, export, or share inspection records, checklists, scan results, notes, screenshots, or PDF reports.

You retain ownership of your own Content. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and use of any Content you create, export, or share.

If you voluntarily send Content to us for customer support, feedback, troubleshooting, or other communication, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, review, and process that Content only as reasonably necessary to provide support, improve the Services, respond to your request, protect our rights, or comply with legal obligations.

You are responsible for protecting exported reports and shared files. Once you share reports or screenshots with third parties, we cannot control how those third parties use, store, or disclose them.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

LensWise is designed with a local-first approach for inspection history, room checklists, scan records, and generated reports. However, certain information may be processed by third-party services for payments, analytics, advertising, crash reporting, performance monitoring, or support, as described in our Privacy Policy.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

The Services, including the App, website, design, logo, name, trademarks, text, graphics, interface, software, features, functionality, documentation, and other materials, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Services except where expressly permitted by law or authorized by us in writing.

All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by us.

12. Third-Party Services

The Services may include, rely on, or link to Third-Party Services, including but not limited to Google Play, Google Play Billing, advertising networks, analytics providers, crash reporting tools, hosting providers, payment processors, or external websites.

We do not control Third-Party Services and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, security, accuracy, or terms.

Your use of Third-Party Services is subject to their own terms and policies.

13. Updates and Changes to the Services

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, including features, pricing, access options, scan tools, paid plans, or availability.

We may release updates to improve functionality, security, performance, compatibility, or compliance. Some features may require you to install the latest version of the App.

We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services, except where required by applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. You may uninstall the App, delete local data, cancel subscriptions, or discontinue use of paid features.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, without prior notice, if we believe that:

• You have violated these Terms

• You have used the Services unlawfully or abusively

• Your use creates risk for us, other users, third parties, or the Services

• We are required to do so by law, platform rules, or security reasons

• The Services or part of the Services is discontinued

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately. Certain provisions of these Terms will continue to apply, including provisions relating to intellectual property, payments, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and other terms that by their nature should survive termination.

15. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Fitness for a particular purpose

• Merchantability

• Non-infringement

• Accuracy

• Reliability

• Availability

• Security

• Error-free operation

• Detection completeness

• Detection accuracy

We do not warrant that:

• The Services will detect every hidden camera, microphone, tracker, recording device, or surveillance device

• Scan results will always be accurate, complete, or reliable

• The Services will be available without interruption

• The Services will be free from errors, bugs, or security issues

• Any suspicious device or privacy risk will be identified

• Any report generated by the Services will be accepted as legal, professional, or forensic evidence

You use the Services at your own risk.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our directors, employees, contractors, partners, suppliers, service providers, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits

• Loss of data

• Loss of goodwill

• Loss of business

• Device damage

• Personal injury

• Property damage

• Travel losses

• Security incidents

• Privacy incidents

• Missed detection of hidden devices

• Incorrect detection results

• Actions taken based on scan results

• Unauthorized use of exported reports

• Third-party conduct or services

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services during the twelve months before the claim arose, or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law if no payment was made.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our directors, employees, contractors, partners, suppliers, service providers, affiliates, and licensors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to:

• Your use or misuse of the Services

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your violation of applicable law

• Your violation of third-party rights

• Your Content, reports, screenshots, or shared files

• Actions you take based on scan results

• Unauthorized scanning, investigation, recording, disclosure, or sharing

18. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region.

If applicable law gives you mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived, these Terms do not limit those rights.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may modify or update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the App, website, email, store listing, or other reasonable means.

By continuing to use the Services after updated Terms become effective, you agree to the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Services.
