Spring, the Sovereign

every spring i rediscover majesty.

it warms my skin like the rising sun, allowing humanity to shed heavy layers.

slowly and delicately, my coat comes off. we each pull carefully at the fabric, hoping not to make any sudden movements.

for we’d be left cold if spring got startled.
