I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and member of the research centers "Global Cooperation and Social Cohesion" and "International Development".
I lead a Work Package in the DYNAMIG project (How migration decisions are made: diverse aspirations, trajectories, and policy effects) and in the Leibniz-funded project "The Senegal Migration Panel: Understanding Mobility in a Climate-Stressed Population".
In my research, I primarily focus on three areas: experimental economics, behavioral economics, and migration economics. By employing the tools and methodologies of behavioral and experimental economics, I aim to better understand decision-making and the underlying factors that influence individuals' choices and behaviors (e.g. gender, family context).
Additionally, my research extends to exploring individual policy preferences, e.g. redistribution and migration policy preferences. I am interested in understanding the factors that drive individuals to support or oppose specific policies, and how these preferences interplay with various factors, such as personal experiences, social context, and economic considerations.
My CV is available here.
