About Us

The mission of the Learning Lemon Drops Child Care Center, in partnership with families and the community, is to provide developmentally appropriate learning opportunities that meet the diverse needs of children, in a safe and nurturing environment. A highly qualified staff will provide a curriculum framework that is created by children and adults and focuses on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).

Goals for the Program

• To provide rich, developmentally appropriate learning opportunities that emphasize the importance of play
• To value and respond to individual abilities, learning styles, and developmental pace
• To foster the development of the whole child; physical, social/emotional, and cognitive
• To appreciate, support, and develop partnerships with families
• To focus on STEAM activities and explorations

We are a cozy center with a total capacity for 20 children. Our infant and toddler classes will have 5 children each. The preschool class will have no more than ten children. We feel that the low child/teacher ratio will enable us to provide high quality care and a friendly, nurturing environment for children.
