Customer Prep Work
Minimum of 4” of batting and backing.
ex: 48”x60” quilt top will require a minimum of a 56”x68” batting and backing
If you wash your quilt back fabric prior please ensure that the backing is still the correct size. Flannel especially can shrink in this instance.
Quilt top should be pressed, clean, and free of pet hair. A charge for pressing and cleaning may be added to the invoice.
Mark the top for orientation of both the quilt top and backing with a pin or marking.
Please check for holes or missed seams and ensure there are no stray threads that can catch on the machine.
*Please note that if listed items are not completed any additional preparation work will be billed at a rate of $40 per hour for additional labor.
