Meet Léim's graduating members on the 2025-26 Team!
Kirsten is a two-time graduate of the University of Michigan. This May, she will earn her Master’s degree in Environmental Public Health with a concentration in Industrial Hygiene. Kirsten joined Léim two years ago and has loved reawakening her Irish Dance roots from when she first danced at age ten. Léim has been a special part of her graudate school journey, giving her a place to reconnect with dance, de-stress, and rediscover the joy that first brought her to Irish Dancing.
Holly is graduating from the University of Michigan for the second time with a Master of Public Policy. Her Irish dancing days started 17 years ago, and she has spent the last five with Léim. During her time with the club, Holly has choreographed numerous dances and held various roles on the Executive Board, returning as Dance Director for her final year. A member of both the Competition and Exhibition Teams, she is sad to be leaving the club that helped UM feel like home.
Roy joined Léim as a sophomore with no dance experience and the goal of providing live accompaniement for the group on his accordion. He has since enjoyed delving further into the dance as well, most recently tackling hardshoe, which he is proud to perform tonight! In his role as Producer, Roy has helmed an effort to add more live music to Léim’s endeavors, enlisting the help of his musical partner-in-crime Gabe Khouri and others. He is graduating with a degree in music and a minor in anthropology.
