We're ready for take off,
The window is coming.
We'll all be back soon,
To land in Wyoming.
Our spacesuits are on,
And oxygen pumping.
The boosters are primed,
And media watching.
Our purpose is clear,
Research our compulsion.
The guages are steady,
Controlling propulsion.
One hundred and counting,
Our pulses are rising.
But something is wrong,
The alarm bell is sounding.
We'd like to go now,
But a message is here.
Our budget's been cut,
So we'll go in a year...

Oh, Howard just pointed with his gun

As it acts in the world, the Tao
is like the bending of a bow.
The top is bent downward;
the bottom is bent up.
It adjusts excess and deficiency
so that there is perfect balance.
It takes from what is too much
and gives to what isn't enough.

After midnight on the 30th April 2025, 99% of English politicians should be replaced, for reasons of de facto incompetence or evasion or for acting with some form of deception, etc. Councillors, Members of Parliament and Mayors.
Has our UK democracy become a demonocracy? It looks rather like that to me!
But more likely is that these politicians are just in a form of political trance state and they need a break and some therapy.
