An exciting progress in the high resolution observations of protoplanetary discs and young accreting protostars has been achieved in the last decade. In parallel with this, numerical simulations of massive young self-gravitating discs uncovered new phenomena and spawned new observation modelling tools. This conference will bring together theorists and observers to discuss implications of this progress for our understanding of disc assembly, its chemical and dynamical structure, evolution, and connections to protostellar growth, binary, and planet formation by disc fragmentation. In terms of format, there will be a mix of invited and contributed presentations, posters and discussion sessions.
1. Disc Formation in isolated and clustered environment
2. Episodic accretion, mass transfer and outflows from discs.
3. Disc observations and characterisation: chemistry, signatures of planets, GI Wiggles, H2 disc mass
4. From disc fragmentation to planet and binary formation
5. ALMA discs and planet candidates in the context of Solar System and exoplanetary data.
