Hello and welcome to my blog!
My name is Lehneah Mosher and I am an Environmental Studies major at the University of Washington in Bothell, WA. I am also working on a horticulture certificate at South Seattle college, so I have some experience with plant identification, propagation, arboriculture, botany and landscape management practices. I love to garden, hike, camp, swim, forage and explore nature. I also really enjoy cooking and baking, especially with foods that I grew or foraged. I'm particularly interested in the identification and medicinal and culinary applications of edible plants and fungi, but I also love learning about animals.
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and have always had a deep connection with the nature in this area, which is why I'm very excited to learn more about it throughout this process. In my blog, I will observe and attempt to identify some of the plants, animals and fungi that I find during the Spring 2018 quarter in my Natural History class!
