Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering of L. E. College (Diploma), Morbi.
Along with this one of the oldest government institute of Gujarat state, the department was also established in 1951. Since then, department offers Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 Years Full Time) program. Currently the institute and program is affiliated with AICTE and Gujarat Technological University (GTU).
Total Intake : 30 students
To create knowledge oriented and professionally skilled mechanical engineers to meet constant changing needs of industry having social and environmental concern.

PSO1: Diploma Mechanical Engineering Students gain adequate theoretical and practical knowledge and skill (background) of mechanical engineering that make them employable and capable of applying it for solving real-time problems.
PSO2: Diploma Mechanical Engineering Students will be able to work in process and manufacturing industry in the area of operation, maintenance and simple component design.
PO-1: Engineering and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals to solve the mechanical engineering problems.
PO-2: Problem analysis: Identify and analyze well-defined mechanical engineering problems using codified standard methods.
PO-3: Design/development of solution: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
PO-4: Engineering tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
PO-5: Engineering practices for society, Sustainability and Environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practice.
