Downloading your code to the actual EV3 Brick is one of the most important part of coding your robot, because how else would you get the code from the workspace to the robot? This tutorial will explain how to download your code to the robot quickly and efficiently.
To upload your code to the robot, simply click one of the download buttons in the bottom-right hand corner of the workspace as shown below:
As you can see, there are three buttons that will download the code to your EV3 robot. Each of them downloads your code to the robot, but each in a different way. The first one is the button with the arrow pointing downward, or the download button. The second one is the button with the play button in the middle of it, or the download and run button. The last one is the button with the play button surrounded by parentheses, or the run selected button. Each button is explained below:
