ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
*READ THIS BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ABSTRACT(S) *
General Information
Please use the template provided below to submit your abstract(s)
The closing date for abstract(s) submission is 20th January 2025
The presenting author must register for the 2nd Leadership & Governance in Emergency Medicine Conference 2025 (LeGoEM25). Failure to do so will result in the abstract being withdrawn from the scientific program
If the presenting author is unable to attend, a replacement must be assigned
The selection of abstract will be decided by LeGoEM25 Scientific Committee
Submitted abstracts will be assessed, and selection will be made for Poster presentation competition
The presenting authors for selected abstracts will be notified via e-mail by 31st January 2025

Eligibility Criteria
Abstract must be in PDF format
Abstract must be in English
Multiple submissions are allowed (Maximum 3 abstracts per author)
Abstracts may be submitted under the following categories:
Poster for Original research: protocol development, clinical audit, quality improvement & assurance project (QIAP)
Poster for Case report/Case series
Abstracts must be related to any of the 4 major segments of the LeGoEM25 Conference:
Leadership
Quality & Risk management
Financial & Asset procurement
Medical law & Ethics
Abstract Format
The structured abstract SHOULD NOT exceed 300 words
Font type: Arial; Font size: 12; Paragraph spacing: 1.5; Justified
Abstract title must be in Title case, in bold and aligned to the left
The list of authors should be written as follows:
Abbreviated first name, surname (Presenting author’s name to be in bold & underlined)
Example: MDF Yazid1, R Tamzil1, CW Leong2, MF Nabil2
1 Hospital Sultanah Nora Ismail, Batu Pahat, Johor
2 Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia, Kubang Kerian, Kelantan
The body of abstract should be organized in the following sequence:
Original Research: Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion
Case report/Case series: Case presentation, Discussion, Conclusion
DO NOT include graphs, tables or illustrations in the abstract
Abbreviations must be defined by placing it in parentheses after full word (only needed for the first time of mentioning)
