About:
Zhaoxiang joined the team in November 2021 as a PhD student under an FNR project, Quantum Continuum Coupling (QuaC). Supervised by Prof. Bordas, his research focuses on developing multiscale modeling techniques to incorporate quantum effects into engineering systems, with a particular emphasis on the effects from van der Waals interactions.
Before joining the team, he completed his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, San Diego in June 2021. He holds a bachelor degree in Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University in China. Apart from his academic endeavors, he is passionate about basketball, fitness, and piano. He also serves as the current president of Chinese Students Association at the University of Luxembourg.
Feel free to contact him for collaborations and ask for help.
