About:
Ingrid is a doctoral student under the ACTIVE Doctoral Training Unit (DTU) supported by the research funding scheme PRIDE of the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR). Supervised by Prof. Bordas, her research focuses on developing multiscale metabolic modeling of astrocytes. She collaborates with physicists and biologists at the Luxembourg Center for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) to understand the complex cellular mechanisms that are involve in the progression of neurodegenerative diseases.
Before joining the team, Ingrid completed her M.S in Biomechanics at École national d’Ingenieurs de Metz (ENIM), France. She holds a double Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from ENIM and University of Antioquia, Colombia.
