Today we celebrate 𝐉𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐥, our 𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟎 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 — someone who inspires, uplifts, and leads with both heart and dedication.

For years, in her role, she consistently shows what it means to listen, to understand, and to represent her grade level with a sense of care and responsibility.

We hope she feels the appreciation she’s earned and the support that surrounds her. The work she does matters, and the way she does it makes all the difference.

As we step into this new year with hope and excitement, let us not forget to appreciate every blessing, lesson, and challenge that shaped us. May we continue to be kind to ourselves, and stay focused on our goals.

On December 17, 2025, Legazpi City Science High School celebrated PaDaBa 2025—a heartwarming event that embodied 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘵𝘢𝘰, 𝘋𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯, and 𝘉𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘴.

For almost five years, LEGASCI has been sharing blessings with others, spreading joy to those in need. This year, however, the focus shifted inward, reminding everyone that the community also deserves to receive the love and care it has long extended.

During the event, a total of 𝟔𝟔 𝐍𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 (not 𝟔 𝟕 ) were carefully prepared and distributed, symbolizing 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚, 𝙟𝙤𝙮, and 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚. The packages were made possible through the contributions of the SPTA and the Citinistas themselves, with participation from every grade level.

May the joy of this day continue to inspire everyone to carry the spirit of PaDaBa into the days ahead, spreading kindness and hope wherever they go.

Dumating na ang 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳! Sa pagdiriwang ng 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒌𝒐 ngayong taon, balikan natin ang lahat ng masasayang alaala, hamon, at aral na humubog sa atin sa nakaraang taon. Nawa’y mapuno ang panahong ito ng tawanan, pagmamahalan, at good vibes kasama ang mga taong mahalaga sa atin.

Sa ilalim ng mga parol na kumikislap, unti-unting umangat ang himig ng Paskong Legasci—isang gabing puno ng liwanag, tawanan, at alaala na para bang nilikha mula sa mismong titik ng ating awitin.

Someone who keeps everything organized without making a big deal out of it. He’s the type of leader who doesn’t need loud announcements or big speeches; his work shows up long before he does.

He is dependable, focused, and always on top of the details, whether it’s managing finances, organizing requirements, or keeping the team on track. What makes him stand out is how effortlessly he handles responsibility. Something to be admired.

Gathering over 400 student leaders from both Elementary and Secondary Schools across Legazpi City, this annual initiative by DepEd–SDO Legazpi aims to strengthen leadership skills and instill the values of good governance, responsibility, and service.

The Legazpi City Science High School proudly participated in the 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔’ 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, with our very own 𝘚𝘚𝘓𝘎 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 and 𝘋𝘍𝘚𝘚𝘓𝘎 𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗼 representing the School and the Division of Legazpi City.

Held at Vela Hotel from November 5-7, this event brought together student leaders from across the region to engage in meaningful discussions, leadership development sessions, and collaborative initiatives rooted in 𝙂𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙤, 𝙖𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙗𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙋𝙪𝙨𝙤.

Orinoco carried the Citinista spirit with pride, showing what it means to lead with heart and intention.

Through workshops, discussions, and team-building activities, Citinista leaders strengthened their leadership values and rediscovered the true essence of service and collaboration.

During the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤  from September 8 to 12, 2025, our 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂) 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙚𝙡 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙘𝙤, and 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙈𝙖𝙭𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙤, showcased their passion and dedication for leadership.

Our SSLG 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 served as the acting 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞-𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧, of the honorable 𝙇𝙪𝙞𝙨 𝙂𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙯. At the same time, our SSLG 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 took on the role of the 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞-𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩, working alongside 𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙖 𝘼𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙤.

Their participation allowed them to observe and contribute to the daily operations of the city government, giving them a 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 at the responsibilities and challenges faced by officials.

This event is a stepping stone for our SSLG leaders, preparing them to become responsible and informed citizens who can positively impact our school community.

Last Wednesday, August 13, the 2025 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 (𝙍𝙎𝙏𝙒) kicked off with its 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮 at the La Piazza Hotel and Convention Center, Legazpi City.

Attended by 20 students, composed of SSLG officers and Senior High School students, the event highlighted DOST-Bicol’s bold initiatives that embed science, technology, and innovation in key areas of development: 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩, 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦.

With this experience, LegaSci students gained a front-row seat to how science truly works for the people and with the people.

Today, we celebrate the passion, creativity, and coursge of the youth — the dreamers, doers, and leaders of tomorrow who are already making a difference today.

With all of your fresh ideas, bold voices, and fearless hearts, you have the power to fight for yourself, spark change, and build a future where no one is left behind.

The 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲-𝗨𝗽 𝗦𝗰𝗶-𝗟𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗦 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗢𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 was held at the ICT Lab of Legazpi City Science High School yesterday, August 11, 2025.

Facilitated by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the program trained the SSLG officers and presidents and vice presidents of senior high school (SHS) to navigate STARBOOKS — an offline digital library brimming with science, technology, and innovation resources.

Through this hands-on session, LegaSci students are one step closer to promoting curiosity, expanding knowledge, and making scientific literacy more accessible to all.
