The Legal Eaglets are based on classic and amusing contract law cases, transformed to engage kids.  The real cases are provided at the end of each book.

Why contract law?  First, it has great lessons for kids about reasonableness, reliance, and making promises.  Second, it's the goldilocks of legal subject areas.  Criminal and tort law are too sad.  Property and constitutional law are too technical.   Contract law is just right.

Lauren has two young kids and wrote the Legal Eaglets series to share with her kids.  She realized her legal calling later in life, quit her job, and went to law school.   She graduated in May 2022 and now works as an attorney.
