Professor Hunter is the Executive Dean of the Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London. He was previously the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Law at Queensland University of Technology and the Founding Dean of Swinburne Law School in Australia.

He is an international expert in internet and intellectual property law, AI & law, and legal tech and legal innovation. He regularly publishes on the intersection of computers and law. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law, the creator of the Future Law Podcast and the founder of four startups.

Professor Lee Pey Woan is a Dean and Professor at SMY Yong Pung How School of Law. She teaches Corporate Law but her research interests lie in Company, Private and Commercial Law. She publishes widely in her field of interest and serves the legal profession by periodically speaking at legal conferences. She is also an advocate and solicitor of the Singapore Supreme Court. 

Mark is currently a Co-Founder and Director at Fortress Law Corporation specialising in Criminal Defence Litigation, Civil and Corporate Litigation and Corporate Law. As a practicing Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, he joined the Crime Division of the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) after completing his Training Contract. There, he prosecuted a variety of cases in both the State Courts and the High Court, specialising first in violence-related offences, and subsequently in sexual offences as well as other criminal offences. Later, he left the public sector in 2020 to continue practice mainly as a dispute resolution lawyer.

Eugene Thuraisingam is a distinguished lawyer known for his criminal and civil litigation work. He began his legal career at Allen & Gledhill, one of Singapore’s largest firms, where he quickly rose to partner at just age 31.

In 2012, he ventured out and formed Eugene Thuraisingam LLP (“ETLLP”). ETLLP has since blossomed to become a well-recognised boutique firm whose name is synonymous with criminal defence and public interest litigation, making several headlines for its litigation of capital cases and constitutional challenges.

Eugene has also established an esteemed reputation in the legal industry and was named as one of Asia’s Top 15 Litigators 2022 and Asia Super 50 Disputes Lawyers 2022 by Asian Legal Business, amongst many other accolades.

Throughout his career, Professor Woon has held several prestigious positions and has had experience in legal practice, diplomacy and academia both locally and internationally. Professor Woon, a Former Attorney-General, and is currently a full-time Visiting Professor of Law at Singapore Management University and a Senior Consultant and Non-Executive Chairman of RHTLaw Asia.

He is author of several law books, including The ASEAN Charter: A Commentary (2015); Walter Woon on Company Law (now in its third edition, edited by Professor Tan Cheng Han), a standard text on company law used in law and business schools in Singapore. In addition, he is also the author of reference works such as The Companies Act of Singapore: An Annotation (originally co-written with Andrew Hicks, now forming the basis of Woon’s Corporations Law); and Towards a Rules-Based Community: An ASEAN Legal Service (with Jean-Claude Piris).

As an “Entrepreneurial Lawyer”, Mr Rajan Chettiar truly highlights the many hats that a lawyer can wear besides lawyering. Moreover, against the backdrop of our Common Law system which is often regarded as an Adversarial one, he aptly reminds us that beyond the realms of Family Law, the notion of collaborative legal practice and using the law not as an end itself but a mean to help others and resolve their issues can shape our legal system for the better. Most importantly, his personal convictions and passion for the law and the community are truly inspiring and will go a long way in informing youths today to ensure that they pursue law not as a glamorous profession but as their calling and with the right motivations. 

Gregory is a recent graduate from King's College London, and an incoming LLM candidate at New York University in the International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration course.

He has represented King's College London on the international stage, participating in the 29th Willem C. Vis Commercial Arbitration Moot, and the Cross-Examination Moot. He has also authored and co-authored works on digital assets and online dispute resolution, and is currently an intern at the United Nations International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT). He is also the Founder of Singapore Introductory Mooting Programme (@simootprogram2023) which is aimed at increasing students' accessibility to the legal industry.

Mr Ng Boon Gan is a Locum Solicitor at VanillaLaw LLC, one of the few in Singapore currently. He received his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at the National University of Singapore’s (NUS) Faculty of Law in 2014 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2015, and has been at the same firm ever since. At VanillaLaw LLC, he specialises in reducing and preventing business disputes, particularly by resolving them through mediation so that his clients can move on from their conflicts and focus on running their businesses.
