Forge Strength AI is provided by Jayson Gerbec. This policy explains how the app uses information to plan workouts, maintain subscriptions, and measure app and advertising performance. Contact: jaysongerbec@gmail.com.
Forge does not require an account or registration. Your workout logs, exercise history, equipment profiles, preferences, and readiness check-ins are stored on your device. Workout planning and progression use that information in the app.
Connecting Apple Health is optional. If you choose to import it and grant access, Forge can read available sleep, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, steps, active energy, recent workouts, and body weight. These inputs help fill your readiness check-in and provide training and strength context. You can use manual inputs instead. Forge does not write workouts or other data to Apple Health.
Forge does not automatically send the contents of your workout logs, readiness check-ins, or Apple Health records to AppsFlyer or RevenueCat. Health information is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. You can change Health access in your device's Health or privacy settings.
Forge keeps a detailed activity log on your device to help review how the app works, including screen visits, workout actions, subscription actions, and permission outcomes. This detailed log is separate from the limited information sent to RevenueCat described below. If you choose to export or share information, the exported file or image can include the information shown in that feature.
To understand onboarding and return usage, Forge sends RevenueCat a limited set of app-use milestones associated with the app-generated installation identifier. These include when an installation is first observed, its first observed app build, whether it was already known to the app, when onboarding stages and the workout preview are reached, when a workout session is created in the app, when the subscription screen is opened, and whether the app is opened again on a later date. The records also include limited measurement-version, installation-classification and app-environment information used to interpret them and distinguish test activity. We use this information to improve onboarding and understand app usage and subscription conversion.
Creating a workout session in the app does not mean a workout was performed or completed. These milestones do not report saved-workout completion or repeat workouts. They do not include exercise names, weights, repetitions, workout notes, equipment answers, readiness answers, body weight, or Apple Health records. They are not a copy of your detailed activity log or workout history. Because the installation identifier is associated with subscription and device information, these records are not treated as anonymous information.
Apple processes subscription purchases through the App Store. Forge does not receive your full payment-card details. Apple handles your payment information under its own privacy policy.
Forge uses RevenueCat for subscription records, purchase validation and synchronization, subscription analytics, and the limited app-use milestones described above. The app sends RevenueCat an app-generated installation identifier and subscription transaction information. It also supplies device and attribution identifiers, including the vendor identifier, the AppsFlyer identifier, and the advertising identifier when available with your permission. RevenueCat can also process technical information needed for these services, such as IP address, device and operating-system information, and app activity related to its services.
The installation identifier is a generated value, not a name or email address. Because it is associated with device identifiers and subscription records, it is not treated as anonymous information.
RevenueCat also sends subscription lifecycle information, such as trials, purchases, renewals and cancellations, to AppsFlyer to measure subscriptions and revenue associated with advertising campaigns. This subscription-event connection does not send the limited custom app-use milestones described above to AppsFlyer.
Forge uses AppsFlyer to measure app installations, launches, and advertising performance. AppsFlyer receives identifiers, including the app-generated installation identifier and its own app identifier, along with app-launch and technical information. Available device identifiers and network information can be used to provide attribution and analytics.
With your tracking permission, advertising and other identifiers may be linked with information from other companies' apps or websites to measure advertising performance. Apple controls access to the advertising identifier through App Tracking Transparency. You can allow or deny tracking when prompted and change your choice in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Denying tracking does not prevent you from using Forge or purchasing a subscription. Subscription processing and app analytics that do not require tracking permission may continue.
Forge also uses Apple's AdServices attribution through RevenueCat to understand whether an installation followed an Apple Ads interaction and to measure campaign performance. This can associate an installation with campaign, ad-group and keyword information. Apple's standard attribution can be available without tracking permission. This attribution does not contain your workout logs or Apple Health records.
Apple, RevenueCat, and AppsFlyer process information for the purposes described above. Information may be processed outside your country under their applicable terms and data-protection arrangements. If you choose to share a workout recap, export a file, or send content to another app such as Instagram, the selected content is passed to that destination. Its handling is governed by the destination's policies and the choices you make there. Workout reminders and rest-timer notifications are optional device notifications.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can respond. Please avoid sending health records or other information that is unnecessary for your request.
You can clear saved workout history using the app's History controls. Removing the app removes its local app data from that installation, but copies you exported or included in device backups may remain. Removing the app does not cancel an App Store subscription or automatically delete records already held by service providers.
Subscription, attribution and limited app-use milestone records are retained for the purposes described above, subject to the providers' retention policies and applicable recordkeeping obligations. To ask about access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your use of Forge, contact jaysongerbec@gmail.com. We may need an app or transaction identifier to locate the relevant records. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable requirements and explain any information that must be retained. Manage or cancel subscriptions separately in your App Store subscription settings.
Forge is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Forge, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
We may update this policy as the app or its services change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
