Editorial Policy
Our goal is to publish comparisons that are accurate, useful and clearly sourced. This page explains how we work.
How we research. We start from the manufacturer's own published specifications and product documentation. We collect those figures into a common set of fields so that two different models can be compared on the same basis. Where a manufacturer does not publish a figure, we record it as unavailable instead of estimating it.
How we write verdicts. A verdict explains which product suits which use case, and why. We try to state the trade-off rather than declaring an overall winner: one model may be better built while the other is lighter or cheaper. If the differences are marginal, we say they are marginal.
Independence. We do not accept payment for coverage, for a higher ranking or for a positive verdict. Affiliate commissions do not influence our rankings; we publish the same comparison whether or not a link earns a commission.
Corrections. If a manufacturer changes a specification, or a reader shows us an error, we correct the page and note the change. Requests can be sent through the contact details published on this site.
AI assistance. Some drafts are produced with the help of language models, always starting from manufacturer-published specifications. Every page is reviewed before publication and we do not publish invented specifications, invented measurements or invented user reviews.
