Being raised by her grandparents after her mom's death, They found it essential for her to participate in family cemetery clean-up days and hear stories about her mom. She has grown up loving cemeteries and the stories they can tell. She has taken her love for history and the past cemetery work to co-create Legacy Stone Restoration.

She has been helping take care of her family plots as long as she can remember, from Forest Park in Shreveport down to Hornsby Bend right outside of Austin, Texas. She has grown from just picking weeds to restoring the stones. Her love of being in the cemetery is what made her decide to join Wendy with Legacy Stone Restoration.
Our owners have a special place in their hearts for gravestones and monuments that honor those who served in our military (including those who served in the Confederacy). Both come from a solid military background, with ancestors and family members that served in the Republic of Texas, The American Revolution, the Civil War, World Wars, Vietnam, and the War on Terror.
