Barn doors are recommended because they save space and are used for everything from closets to bathrooms, pantries, offices, bedrooms and other interior spaces. Barn doors come in a wide range of styles, and sizes.
Sliding barn doors consist of a door slab, a hanger that the door slab hangs from, rollers that are installed on the hangers, a track that the rollers slide right and left on, a door guide to prevent the door from moving backward and forward, a handle to make it easier to open and close the door, and a latch to lock the door in place.
We first start with an in-home estimate to ensure that the space that you desire to have a door can actually take place. Once that determination has been made the proper measurements will be taken to ensure maximum coverage takes place once the door has been built. Next, a design must be selected by the customer and an initial deposit will be required to purchase materials and hardware. Construction of single door takes between 1.5-2 weeks to complete depending on the design selected. Upon the delivery and installation of the purchased door the remaining balance will be due.
Once your design is selected and the initial deposit has been received for a single barn door our turnaround time is within the window of 1.5-2 weeks. For double door orders our turnaround time is within the window of 2-2.5 weeks depending on the requested design.
Yes. If you choose to install the barn door yourself, we will provide the hardware manufacturers instructions for your reference.
It’s important to consider overlap with your door and the opening. We consider a standard of 2” overlap on top as well as each side of the door from the door opening width.
We offer the traditional single barn door, French doors, and bypass doors.
Locks can be added separately by the customer's request, but they do not come standard with the hardware.
Sliding barn doors are ideal for tight spaces. Swinging doors need room to open. As a result, they may block walkways or damage walls when in small spaces. Barn doors, on the other hand, require far less floor space, as they rest flat up against the wall.

Yes. Barn doors do have the option of being locked but the options available are different from the traditional locks. Depending on your surface a lock may not be a sufficient option.
Mounting your track to a header not only gives a more finished look but adds additional support to helping disperse the weight of the system and prevents crushing of the drywall on large or heavy door applications. Also, depending on the location of the studs within your walls you man not have a choice but to utilize a header.
A typical service from us takes between 1.5-2 weeks from the initial in-home estimate, design stage, and to installation. We offer a full service that includes customization, delivery, and installation that is all included within the final price given for each individual door. On average, any door that is ordered from a big named competitor payment is made in full prior the door being processed. It generally takes weeks to arrive after purchase and upon arrival most deliveries will be left at your door pending a signature. Keep in mind that most doors arrive unassembled and still need to be installed by someone. If the purchaser is unable to assemble and install the door then a handyman would possibly be the next best option but they come at a cost as well. Before you know it the door that you thought was going to cost $1,500 can easily turn into $2,000 or more depending on the assistance that you secure. Has anyone checked to see if you have the coverage to secure a barn door to your wall? If no one has performed this check prior to you purchasing, then you may have just purchased a door that you cannot use.
