Reading, citing, and writing encyclopedia articles from reputable secondary sources online or archival records (e.g. Ancestry.com, Newspapers.com, archive.org, Electronic music websites, etc.) about people and companies (usually sports and electronic music figures and record labels).
Photographing landmarks and uploading photos under Creative Commons license or for Fair Use.
Adding links from archival websites (e.g. archive.org, ghostarchive.org, archive.today) in an event that the publication's website goes offline.

Created and justified quantitative-focused methodology based on past works from academics (via peer-review journals).
Utilized secondary sources (e.g. books, newspaper articles, archival works) in addition to peer-reviewed journals to understand the full picture.
Consulted with faculty advisors and librarians to narrow focus and identify relevant resources to improve the project.

A 3-member, collaborative, semester-long project contracted by the City of San José Department of Planning, Building, and Code Enforcement to Richard Kos' URBP 279 class.
Coordinated regular weekly/biweekly meetings with city employees, submitted weekly reports to update the current progress of the project, and actively communicated with other members, via Discord and Google Sheets, on each and every matter.
Utilized archival records (e.g. blogs, newspapers, photographs, Sanborn maps, etc.) to obtain the most information possible about history of the four commercial/industrial buildings within the study area.

Poster Presentation for 2024 American Association for Geographers (AAG).
Created 2D Orthomosaic via ArcGIS Drone2Map.
Conducted Segmentation and Classification of objects of the Multispectral Orthomosaic and exported appropriate fields for vector data use through Trimble eCognition.
Used ArcGIS ModelBuilder to utilize several tools (e.g. Overlay, Field Calculator, Join Field) and to document the analysis of eelgrass health at all 38 points along two precincts.

Poster Presentation for Industry Action Board (IAB) Meeting hosted by San Jose State University's Wildfire Interdisciplinary Research Center.
Conducted Segmentation and Classification of 61,000 objects of the Multispectral Orthomosaic and exported appropriate fields for vector data use through Trimble eCognition.
Wrote a Python script in Field Calculator that labeled the highest percentage of the classes used.
Researched notable, important topics for a specific audience within a 1-month timeframe.

Final Project for Advanced GIS Class at Foothill College (GIST 53)
Conducted Viewshed Analysis and Random Sampling along the trails (line features) to figure out which places in the area are most/least viewable.
Conducted Ski Slope Suitability based on precipitation, area solar radiation, and DEM rasters.
Used mining activity vector data to calculate weighted sum and zonal statistics of each watershed within the boundaries.
All were conducted through ArcGIS Pro 3's ModelBuilder.
Deliverables: 3 Layouts of Viewshed Analysis, Ski Slope Suitability, and Watershed Vulnerability Analysis

Final Project for Intro to Remote Sensing Class at Foothill College (GIST 58)
Conducted K-Means Unsupervised Classification on Landsat 8 Imagery through Google Earth Engine (GEE) through Javascript, and then downloaded them through Google Drive.
Utilized ArcGIS Pro to calculate summary statistics of each classified cell in before the earthquake and after the earthquake.
Created Layouts for both images for presentation purposes.
