GIS Practitioner from the San Francisco Bay Area, California
Welcome to my official website! My purpose as a GIS Practitioner is simply to make a difference in the world by utilizing geographic or non-geographic data, conducting geospatial analyses, and outputting insight for others to, at best, inform, and to, at most, inspire.
I’m currently an NSF REU Intern & Trainee for the Geofly Lab at San Jose State University. I’m currently working on understanding the spatial impact of eelgrass wasting disease through the use of Drones and Image/Raster Analysis.
As for what I do with GIS, I’m still exploring exactly what particular fields I can specialize in. Overall, I’m interested in incorporating a variety of disciplines and increasing my domain knowledge in the natural sciences, social sciences, or formal sciences to conduct GIS Analyses. In the future, I plan to take my knowledge and experiences toward working as a GIS Developer or GIS Manager in either the public sector or private sector.
In my free time, you can find me playing on the golf course, watching football and basketball, improving my productivity skills, or getting creative with any activity related to keeping up in our GIS World.
