Biography :

Sang-Ah Lee (MBTI : ENTJ) holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Chungbuk National University (CBNU, 2012, supervisor: Rhee, Sung-Keun), a Master’s degree in Biodiversity and Environmental Ecology from Chungnam National University (CNU, 2014, supervisor: An, Kwang Guk), and a Ph.D. in Environmental Biotechnology from the University of Science and Technology (UST, 2021, supervisor: Ahn, Chi-Yong; Co-supervisor: Oh, Hee-Mock). Currently, he is a Professor at Jeju National University (JNU) in Korea, working in the Faculty of Biotechnology. His experience includes wastewater treatment bioprocess engineering and microbiology, focusing on metagenomics assessment and microbial network interactions during treatment. Presently, his research group (M2B Lab) focuses on the adverse outcomes of microplastics for invertebrates and the production of biomaterials from microalgal biomass.
