Welcome to my web page. I have been preparing income tax returns since January of 1981, and have been a Certified Public Accountant since 1983. Prior to moving to Anchorage, Alaska in 1984 I worked for two different multi-national accounting firms. In Alaska I worked for a local CPA firm for a while before starting a local firm with a partner. After several years in the partnership I took a position as the treasurer of a small technology firm that built custom computers, set up and administered networks for small businesses, and performed custom database application development for businesses ranging in size from one location in Anchorage to hundreds of offices worldwide. During my time there I transitioned from being an employee to part ownership of the company. I also continued my CPA practice as a sole proprietor on a part-time basis.
After nearly 30 years of working together at the technology company, my co-owners decided that they would like to pursue other interests outside Alaska. I am resuming the practice of public accounting as a full-time business effective January 1, 2021. Just as when I was practicing part-time, I will maintain my office in my home. I also have a secure web portal (leejenkinscpa.cchifirm.us/ClientPortal) where clients can submit digital copies of documents securely.
