Hi, everyone, we are the Exploring kids, I'm "Lily", I'm "Vivi", I'm "Anna", and I'm "Sana". Have you ever been to Miaoli? Which store will make you linger? Today, we are going to introduce the best coffee shop in Miaoli.
Outline:
Here is the outline of our presentation, which is divided into six parts.
Basic info:
Let me tell you how to get there. After arriving at Zhunan train station, we walked about 400 meters to Yujin Cafe. The cafe is close to the station. You can make reservations by calling them. They are open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Environment:
Next is interior design. Decorated in white tones, the store appears sleek, simple, and stylish. As we entered the store, we saw the interior decoration was similar to the outside area. Walls were adorned with gold beams. The gold beams stood out against the white background. This gave the store a warm atmosphere.
Food:
Let's move on to food and expenses. These desserts were displayed in a glass cabinet, and they looked mouth-watering and delicious. It was a unique design because customers could window-shop desserts.
Expense:
We ordered a Strawberry smoothie with a snow cap first. The price is NT80$, and it has a special lid. You can insert a straw into the lid and drink directly from the hole. There are two ways to drink this drink. You can drink the liquid by mixing it properly, or you can taste the cream from the top through the hole. You're surprised to find salty butter, smoothies, and tapioca balls all in one drink. Afterwards, we tried chocolate bagels, which tasted sweet and bitter in a good way, and they were only NT35$. We also had a beef croissant for NT65$. Although the beef was smokey and delicious, we found the broccoli to be a little dry.
Experience:
Here is what we experienced, Yujin Cafe made us feel relaxed because it was clean and quiet. But the food was a bit expensive for us. The shop owners also provided napkins for customers. The shop icons on the napkins were very exclusive and impressive, and we even took some home as souvenirs.
Conclusion:
Overall, most of the customers are office ladies looking for a nice break after work. It is a nice place where people drink coffee and eat desserts, while chatting. Although meals are not cheap on average, they can still be afforded for occasional enjoyment. It's worth a shot to have a different dining experience here.
End:
We will definitely visit the shop again. Our food exploration journey is just beginning. Thanks for your attention!

Hello everyone, today we are going to introduce our department . The full name of our school is National Miaoli Senior Commercial Vocational School.
開頭
Here is the overview. We’ve divided our presentation into six parts, as you can see.
介紹科系
Now, let’s introduce the Applied English Department to you. First the goal is to develop professional competence in English proficiency and its applications. Second courses include linguistics, literature, and business English. Third Students have opportunities for Internships, English camps, international exchanges, and presentations. Finally our Classroom Facilities include a Language Lab, an English Corner, and Recording Studios.
營隊
Our department also holds various English camps and events on the weekend to improve our overall English skills. Moreover, ‘‘Fall in Love with English Camp’’ takes place once a year. Professional English-native speakers are invited to the school to conduct exciting activities and create a lively English-speaking learning environment.
英語歌唱比賽
One of the school traditions is the English singing competition. In the first and second grades, we sang “How Far I’ll Go” and “Black Magic,” respectively. The songs we chose represent positivity and youthfulness. Even though it took us lots of effort and time, we didn't give up. Fortunately, we won the championship for two years.
學伴交流
Next is international student exchange. We have interacted with students from the Netherlands, Korea, and Japan. We used Padlet and Flip to introduce ourselves and Taiwanese culture. We also exchanged gifts, sent postcards, and interacted via video chat. Through this experience, we get to know friends from different countries and upgrade our English proficiency.
越南
What’s more, our teacher invited many couch surfers to our class. They shared their cultures and life experiences with us. These activities enrich our learning experiences and provide valuable insights into diverse perspectives. The first foreigners invited by the teacher were from Vietnam, and they introduced local customs, famous traveling spots, and dos and don’ts in Vietnam. We also experienced how to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls. So yummy and tasty!
巴西
A gorgeous couple from Brazil, FILIPE and YORK, introduced Brazilian culture and lifestyle, as well as some tips when visiting there. In the end, they shared their local food and drink with us—coconut cake (BOLO DE COCO) and Maté tea (CHA NATE). So unique and special!
緬甸
The lecturer, Kumar from Myanmar, taught us how to wear the Longyi and made us experience the beauty products from Myanmar—Thanaka. We also learned how to write Burmese. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us!
結尾
That’s all about our department introduction; thanks for listening.:)
