The Safer Hometowns Project for Resources and Development (SHPRD) is proud to offer multiple security options to the community at no cost. Our primary focus is to prevent and minimize damage typically caused by mass casualty incidents. Mass killings are on the rise in America, so we prioritize conducting active resistance training for schools, businesses, places of worship, and other disproportionately targeted areas.

Our efforts to address active killing incidents extend to helping our clients create standard operating procedures, response policies, and providing advice on how to structure these disproportionately targeted areas to make them more resilient. Examples of environment building include arranging furniture to benefit the defenders or reinforcing existing barriers at points of entry. This training and advice is not only applicable to mass killing prevention. Our procedures and training also address topics like evacuation, emergency medical response, environmental emergencies, and de-escalation techniques.
