Ledger Live™ is the official companion application that allows you to manage your crypto assets securely. It is available for desktop and mobile devices.
After downloading and installing Ledger Live:
Launch the application.
Select Get Started.
Choose your Ledger device model.
Follow the on-screen setup instructions.
Ledger Live serves as your central dashboard for managing accounts, monitoring balances, installing apps, and accessing additional features.
Connect your Ledger device to your computer or mobile device using the provided cable.
During setup, you will be prompted to:
Create a new wallet
Set a secure PIN code
Confirm your PIN on the device
Your PIN protects access to your hardware wallet. Choose a unique PIN that is difficult for others to guess and never share it with anyone.
One of the most important steps in the setup process is recording your Secret Recovery Phrase.
Your recovery phrase is a unique series of words generated by the device. It acts as the backup to your wallet and can restore access to your assets if your device is lost, damaged, or replaced.
Important security tips:
Write the recovery phrase on the provided recovery sheet.
Store it in a safe and secure location.
Never share it with anyone.
Never enter it on websites, emails, or social media platforms.
Keep multiple secure backups if appropriate.
Remember: anyone with access to your recovery phrase can access your assets.
Once your device is configured, you can install cryptocurrency apps through Ledger Live.
To install apps:
Open Ledger Live.
Navigate to the My Ledger section.
Connect and unlock your device.
Select the cryptocurrency apps you want to install.
Ledger supports a wide range of digital assets, including popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and many others.
After installing the necessary apps, you can add accounts to Ledger Live.
To add an account:
Open Ledger Live.
Click Add Account.
Select the cryptocurrency.
Open the corresponding app on your Ledger device.
Follow the prompts to complete account creation.

Receiving cryptocurrency is simple:

Share the verified address with the sender.
To send cryptocurrency:
Choose the account you wish to use.
Click Send.
Enter the recipient's address and amount.
Review the transaction details.
Confirm the transaction directly on your Ledger device.
Always verify addresses on the device screen before approving transactions.
