LedgerSlip (“LedgerSlip,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the LedgerSlip mobile application.
LedgerSlip is a receipt scanning and expense tracking app that helps users capture receipts, extract receipt details, organize expenses, and export records for bookkeeping and reporting.
When you use LedgerSlip, the app may process the following information:
Receipt images captured by you
Text extracted from receipts, such as vendor name, date, amount, currency, category, and description
App settings you choose, such as categories, default currency, fiscal year settings, and storage preferences
Purchase status for LedgerSlip Pro, as provided by Apple
LedgerSlip uses this information to:
scan and store receipt records
extract and display receipt details
organize receipts into categories
calculate totals and summaries
export receipt records and related files
determine whether LedgerSlip Pro has been purchased or restored
provide currency detection and historical currency conversion features, when applicable
LedgerSlip is designed to store receipt data, receipt images, and exported files locally on your device or in the storage location you choose through the app.
You are responsible for managing, backing up, exporting, or deleting your data as needed.
LedgerSlip Pro is offered as a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payment processing, billing, and purchase validation are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
If you use LedgerSlip Pro currency features, the app may send limited information necessary to obtain historical exchange rates, such as the selected currencies and receipt date, to an external exchange-rate service.
As of the current version, LedgerSlip uses the Frankfurter exchange-rate service for historical exchange rate lookups.
LedgerSlip may request access to your device camera so that you can scan receipts. If camera access is denied, some app features may not function properly.
We do not sell your personal information.
LedgerSlip may share limited information only when necessary to provide app functionality, including:
with Apple for in-app purchases and purchase restoration
with external exchange-rate services when currency conversion is requested by you
with destinations you choose when you export or share files from the app
LedgerSlip may rely on Apple frameworks and services, including services related to purchases, device permissions, and other system-level functionality.
If you use LedgerSlip Pro currency conversion, exchange-rate information may be retrieved from a third-party exchange-rate provider.
Your data remains stored until you delete it, export it, remove the app, or clear it using available app controls.
LedgerSlip does not require you to create an account to use the app.
LedgerSlip is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are made, the Effective Date above will be updated.
