Hi, I introduce my theme plugin, Guna.

It is a dark theme and colors are bright and were selected from wide color spectrum. It has a sidebar conspicuous clock. It is useful for full screen mode. The clock also displays status of active view.

Though I will say, no offence to the author, but I am a little hesitant to install a free theme with compiled modules that seem to hide the code. This is mainly due to the recent harvesting of data concerns by other shady plugins. At least with paid plugins, you can at least understand why they are hiding the code

I have been looking into making a clock for using Python Tkinter. I have managed to do so and would like to take it to the next level: automatic day/night theme change. I have tried using strftime and my own code for getting a close estimate of whether it's day or night. the code would always give me the wrong color for the numbers, but the right color for the colons.

so I realized that if I change the lockscreen wallpaper even just to a different picture it somehow disables the themes clock style!!! I want the clock style from my theme AND to be able to look at a decent pic not just the chosen image. I just have no idea how to fix this and I haven't found anything online other than other people have the same problem but no solution yet. any help is much appreciated!

so I contacted the folks that made the theme I'm using just for somewhere to start. so they are aware of the issues and that it's possibly ALL Samsung themes so they're going to work on if there's a way to fix it themselves for the next theme update if not they'll let me know and they are going to look into it. so any new info I shall share here!!!!

Hi @donniederanged you can go to the following website and make a clock design then code the embedding code from there. then in your theme editor go to the footer.liquid file and paste the copied code at bottom

Hey, could you possibly help me out? I added the JS as a js (clock.js), and pasted the html into the footer liquid where I was thinking of placing it, but it did nothing. I am sure I am doing it wrong, I am not very experienced with java.

Most users on mobile and desktop will have a time clock permanently visible either at the top of their phone or the corner of their desktop. And people who don't most specifically don't want to be nagged with the time.

My wife wanted me to make a cuckoo clock for her with a theme of sewing. I bought an electronic mechanism and started from scratch. If you look closely, you will see many things, clock hands has rulers, sewing machine table, cutting table, even her dog is there. The pendulum is a large safety pin, scissors at the crown, quilting rack, etc. The cuckoo bird itself, looked like a piece of plastic junk. I repainted it to look like it should.

It look to me like you guys have just started a sewing, cooking, house cleaning, grocery buying, working on the car, mowing the yard and roofing the house selection of woman inspired cuckoo clocks with that one and only female touch. So why not, they built Rome didn't they?

I've recently replaced my Fitbit sense with a new sense2 and the analog faces do not display the different color theme options. I've checked the clock setting, removed and reinstalled the clock face apps, reset my sense 2 and phone without success. The Fitbit analog watch face app (named Guilloche) only shows the clock hands on a black background. The Guilloche has color theme options for a gold ,rose and white clock face. I had another clock face that I had paid for my sense this also does not display the clock face color theme colors.

Anderson wrote "The Syncopated Clock" in 1945 while serving with the U.S. Army and assigned as Chief of the Scandinavian Desk of Military Intelligence in Washington. Anderson had been invited by Arthur Fiedler to guest-conduct the Boston Popular ("Pops") Orchestra during their annual Harvard Night. Then, with a three-day pass, Anderson traveled from his home in Arlington, Virginia to Boston, where he conducted the premiere on May 28, 1945.[1]

A version of "The Syncopated Clock" recorded by Percy Faith in 1951 (released by Columbia Records with the flip side "On Top of Old Smokey"[6]) was noticed by the producers of a new WCBS-TV program called The Late Show, a nightly program of old movies that was the station's first venture into late night television. Faith's rendition was chosen as the theme music for The Late Show by WCBS and several other CBS owned-and-operated stations around the country, which helped Anderson's composition become a tune that many Americans could readily hum or whistle, even if few knew the name of its composer.[2] WCBS would also use the Faith recording to introduce a weekday afternoon movie (The Early Show), a later-night movie offering, The Late Late Show, and when time permitted on occasion, The Late, Late, Late Show.[7][8]

The arrangement requires temple blocks to be used as the sound of the clock that is heard throughout, except for a brief section in the middle. The piece is in 4

4 time; the opening establishes a perfectly regular "tick-tock" accompaniment, beginning with a roll off the orchestra's staccato strike of an A chord, creating an expectation that it will continue. As the piece proceeds, the "clock" continues to indulge in brief moments of syncopation. Some are expected by the listener (as the tune repeats the passage in which the first syncopation occurred); others are not, creating a whimsical and comic effect. The song's basic arrangement and comical effect makes it a favourite for school bands. In the bridge section, the sound of an old-fashioned clock alarm ringing goes off a few times. In the coda, a group of sound effects are heard, including a "BOING!!" heard before the last group of orchestral chords.

In a sixth-season episode of the television series M*A*S*H ("Your Hit Parade"), the tune is played over the public announcement system during a particularly grueling session in the operating room. B.J. Hunnicutt references its use as The Late Show theme but mistakenly identifies it as "The Musical Clock."[9] It also accompanied the "Silent Minute," a Michael Weisman-devised concept during the pregame coverage leading into NBC Sports' telecast of Super Bowl XX which was a one-minute countdown featuring a black screen with a digital clock which morphed into Roman numerals when it reached twenty seconds remaining.[10][11]

I have a black taskbar and all the text on it is white. This is what I want.However, after the latest Windows 10 Anniversary Update, the text of the clock has turned black. Black on black is hard to see, and I would like to fix this.

You need to use the big icons in the task bar for it to display properly. Right click on the task bar, click on task bar settings. Go to the fourth option and deactivate ''Use small taskbar buttons''. You will have bigger icons and the clock will now display both time and date in white.

For some reasons, whenever I changed the Selected Tab color, it changes both of the colors and the highlight countdown effect will not longer be visible. This has caused some of my themes to be rejected.

I've been rummaging around /usr/share looking for the files to remove the clock from both the Login and Lock screens, but so far nothing has worked, and recently removing the Clock.Qml file from /usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/org.kde.breeze.desktop/contents/ locked my out of the PC (had to reboot to login).

Hello all, of all things I've been tasked with coming up with a way to display a New Years Eve countdown clock on the desktops of all company computers. Most of the free screen-savers I've attempted to try out are being caught by our security software even though the manufacturer claims their downloads are virus free. Does anyone on here have any experience with this? Perhaps a VB script or something that can be customized. Thanks...

I'm beginning to think that a .vbs pushed to all PC's start up folders might be the way to go here. I'm playing around with x=msgbox ("Countdown to New Year!" ,64, "Countdown to New Year!") but now I need to figure the countdown clock aspect.
