For example, she had me use a block in a way that I first thought was unusual, but then after settling into the pose, I discovered it helped me release so much built-up tension. Abbie led me and a group of my closest friends in a morning yoga practice on my wedding day. From the moment we started planning, Abbie brought her creativity and thoughtfulness into every detail. She was open-minded when I asked if she would lead our yoga practice in a field on the farm property, and she curated a playlist of music that so perfectly captured both the joy of the day and the peace that I wanted to bring into the morning. The group had very different experiences with yoga and everyone left feeling empowered and uplifted. I started my day in community and left the practice feeling so grounded and restored. Abbie led yoga and breathwork for me and my bridal party on the morning of my wedding in 2019. Her session created an opportunity for us to relax, de-stress, and set intentions for the day. On a day full of nerves and emotions, it was nice to be able to reset and feel calm. I am SO glad I began my wedding day by doing yoga with my best friends (and my mom), led by Abbie! Abbie created an incredibly special experience for me that I will truly never forget. My wedding weekend was such a beautiful blur -- I was giddy and elated and overwhelmed all at once. Thankfully, my wedding day yoga practice was an opportunity for me to slow down, get present, and settle into the special day ahead.
