FIRST®  Robotics

FIRST® Robotics is a not-for-profit organization that introduces students from elementary through high school to various fields and professional skills in engineering, coding, mechanics, and business. Students in FIRST® are part of a global network of future inventors and innovators and are given a competitive outlet to express and build their engineering ingenuity and team skills through robots. I have been associated with FIRST®, initially as a student and later as a coach and media personnel, since 2018. Despite its global presence, high school competitive robotics is misunderstood in the public eye and through my photography and journalism I aim to bring light to what FIRST® Robotics really is and the life-changing power it holds for its students.
