About Me

Dear Parents,

Welcome to third grade! I am so excited to be joining the Summit Drive team and teaching your child this year!

I am originally from Long Island, New York. I loved growing up so close to New York City and experiencing all it had to offer! I grew up being the youngest of 5 siblings that I adore greatly! After many years up north I decided to traveled south for college and begin a new adventure. I graduated from Clemson University in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Literacy, Culture, and Diversity. Last May, I graduated with my Master's Degree from Clemson University as well (Go Tigers!).

Last year, I had the privilege of being placed at Summit Drive for my teacher residency while pursuing my Master's Degree. I spent the entire year teaching and learning in Ms. Mention's third grade class! I loved every second on it and am so fortunate to be able to start my career at Summit Drive.

I believe that the classroom should be a warm, and welcoming environment where students have the courage to explore new things and find what they are passionate about! I am so excited for the opportunity to teach your child in third grade and watch them grow! I know this year will be filled with endless adventures and memories and I can't wait for our journey to begin!
