Diversity - Equity - Inclusion

I am grateful to have worked closely with and supported a wide range of students from varying ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, religions, physical abilities, and gender identities during my time as an educator. Each and every one of my students challenges me to grow and deepen my understanding of how various backgrounds impact a student’s academic experience. I am committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in my classroom as well as in my research laboratory. I am aware that this is a process that is always evolving, and I plan to continue iterating and improving  the ways that I establish an inclusive and equitable environment.
