LeaveLight is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how LeaveLight collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you:

• Download or use our iOS app LeaveLight ("App")

• Register or log in via Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple

• Make in-app purchases (monthly or annual subscriptions) via StoreKit

By using LeaveLight, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Account Information

• Email address (collected via Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple)

• Display name or full name (if provided by you or the identity provider)

1.2. Device Data

• Usage data such as app crashes or errors (only if you opt in to share crash reports)

• Technical details (device model, OS version) necessary for app functionality

• Device language and region settings (used only to display the app in your preferred language)

1.3. Content You Create

• Checklists, items, and reminder schedules you create within the app

• Photos and videos you capture to confirm checklist items

• Streak history and check-in data

• All of this content is stored exclusively on your device and is never uploaded to our servers

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your account and allow you to securely log in

• Manage your subscription status and entitlement to Pro features

• Deliver local notifications for your reminders (processed entirely on your device)

• Provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues

• Improve the App by analyzing crash reports or optional usage analytics

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. Local Storage of Your Data

All your checklists, photos, videos, streak history, and check-in records are saved directly on your iOS device (in the app's sandbox). We do not transmit, sync, or back up this data to any remote server. You have full control over your data and can delete individual items or your entire account at any time from within the app.

When you delete your account, all your local data and associated media files are permanently removed from your device.

4. Notifications

LeaveLight sends local notifications to remind you to check your home safety items at your scheduled times. These notifications are generated and processed entirely on your device using iOS's native notification system. No reminder data is sent to our servers or any third party.

You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device Settings.

5. Authentication & Third-Party Sign-In

To simplify registration and login, LeaveLight integrates with:

• Firebase Authentication

• Google Sign-In

• Sign in with Apple

When you choose one of these options, we receive from the provider only the basic profile information you authorize (email, name). Your authentication credentials (passwords, OAuth tokens) are handled directly by those services and are never stored on our servers.

6. In-App Purchases

LeaveLight offers monthly and annual Pro subscriptions via Apple's StoreKit framework. When you make a purchase:

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple; we do not collect or store your payment details

• We receive only the subscription status and transaction validations necessary to unlock Pro features

• Subscription status is verified through Apple's servers and is not stored on our servers

• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account). When you delete your account:

• Your authentication record is permanently removed from Firebase Authentication

• All locally stored data (checklists, photos, videos, streaks) is permanently deleted from your device

• Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your Apple ID settings, as they are managed by Apple

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

9. Children's Privacy

LeaveLight is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can delete their information.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access the personal information we hold about you

• Request correction of inaccurate information

• Request deletion of your account and personal information

• Withdraw consent for data processing
