1. Information We Collect

1.1. Account Information

Email address (collected via Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple)
Display name or full name (if provided by you or the identity provider)

Usage data such as app crashes or errors (only if you opt in to share crash reports)
Technical details (device model, OS version) necessary for app functionality

1.3. Content You Create

Photos and videos you capture or import within the app—these files are stored exclusively on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

Authenticate your account and allow you to securely log in.
Manage your subscription status and entitlement to premium features.
Provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues.
Improve the App by analyzing crash reports or optional usage analytics.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. Local Storage of Photos and Videos

All photos and videos you add in LeaveLight are saved directly on your iOS device (in the app’s sandbox). We do not transmit or back up this media to any remote server. You control these files and can delete them at any time.

4. Authentication & Third-Party Sign-In

To simplify registration and login, LeaveLight integrates with:

Firebase Authentication
Google Sign-In
Sign in with Apple

When you choose one of these options, we receive from the provider only the basic profile information you authorize (email, name). Your authentication credentials (passwords, OAuth tokens) are handled directly by those services and are never stored on our servers.

5. In-App Purchases

LeaveLight offers monthly and annual subscriptions via Apple’s StoreKit framework. When you make a purchase:

Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple; we do not collect or store your payment details.
We receive only the subscription status and transaction validations necessary to unlock premium features.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

LeaveLight is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can delete their information.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
