Hi, I’m Julissa or Miss Jules to my students! I use creativity, technology, and a whole lot of heart to design learning experiences that include, empower, and inspire.
I hold a Master’s in Educational Design and Learning Technology (EDLT), a Bachelor’s in Marketing with a minor in Advertising, and an Associate of Arts in Business Management. With a background that bridges education, business, and design, I bring a unique blend of creativity, strategy, and purpose to everything I create. My work is grounded in supporting exceptional student populations — including students with disabilities, English language learners, and culturally diverse communities. I believe that technology, when used with intention, has the power to remove barriers and make learning more meaningful and personal.
Having worked across both educational and commercial settings, I value compassionate design, clear communication, and tools that reflect the real needs of learners. I’m committed to building learning environments that are accessible, affirming, and human-centered — where every student feels capable and every educator feels supported.
To design inclusive, accessible, and impactful learning experiences that empower both students and educators. I aim to bridge creativity and strategy to support diverse learners and help education feel more human, relevant, and reflective of real life.
I envision an education landscape where every learner, regardless of background, ability, or language, feels seen, supported, and capable. A future where thoughtful design and technology work hand-in-hand to remove barriers and amplify student voice.

Synchronous Instruction in Practice
I’ve supported and led synchronous instruction in both classroom and online settings, including live webinars, small group lessons, and co-teaching via Zoom and Google Meet. My focus during live sessions is to foster engagement, build relationships, and support accessibility through visuals, scaffolding, and flexible participation options. Whether facilitating discussions or managing breakout rooms, I aim to make every live learning moment feel structured, inclusive, and student-centered.
