The Expense Tracker app as a personal finance management tool. This SERVICE is provided by Akash Sehdev and is intended for use as is.

The Expense Tracker app stores data in Firebase and locally on your device using SQLite and Shared Preferences. The app may collect limited personal information such as your email address and password during account creation and login (if you use Firebase Authentication or similar).
This information is used solely for authentication and app functionality. We do not share or sell any user data to third parties.

2. Local Data Storage

All expense data you add (amount, description, date, category) is stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to any external server, ensuring your financial information remains private.

3. Log Data

In case of an error in the app, we may collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, configuration of the app when using the Service, and the time and date of your use.

4. Cookies

This app does not use cookies directly. However, third-party code and libraries that the app uses (e.g., Firebase) may use cookies to collect information and improve their services.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals for the following reasons:
