An Interview with Dr. Ashley Dallacqua
In my first ever podcast interview, I talk with my adviser in the department of Language, Literacy, and Sociocultural Studies at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Dallacqua describes her rich experiences as an intern teacher in Española, NM, her integration into academia, and her focus on comic and graphic novels in secondary and primary settings. I also get a few breadcrumbs to follow in my search for a vision and practice of sustainable pedagogy. Below are photos of the three books mentioned at the end of the interview.
I created this podcast in response to an open formatted assignment in which my professor, Dr. Pisarn Bee Chamcharatsri, encouraged innovative products. My hope is to develop this into a full-fledged podcast in the near future.
