At the end of the term it's great to play this game with your students at the lesson. You'll see if they know numbers (at least one-ten), colours, letters, words and sounds. Use a dice and some counters. The student throws a dice and moves his counter. Then he says what letter it is, finds the picture of the word (or words) beginning with this letter and names the sound (sounds). What is more he describes the picture using two language models: It's a / an ... . / I've got a ... . It's (brown).
