Learnify ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

·         Account Data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, school/university, and state.

·         Authentication: We use Firebase and Google Sign-In to manage your account securely.

·         User-Generated Content: We collect the posts, comments, and "likes" you create to facilitate social interactions within the Learnify community.

2. Permissions & Media

Camera & Gallery: We request access to your device's camera and photo library to allow you to upload a profile picture. Images are only uploaded when you explicitly select or capture them via the app interface.

3. Usage Data & Payments

·         In-App Purchases: We process subscriptions via Google Play Billing. We do not store credit card information on our servers; it is handled securely by Google. We may collect purchase history for account management and fraud prevention.

·         Device IDs: We may collect device identifiers to ensure security and enforce our "one account per device" security policy.

4. Data Sharing & Retention

·         Third-Party Services: We use Google Play Services (for distribution/billing) and Firebase (for authentication/database). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

·         Public Visibility: Your name, profile picture, and any posts or comments you make will be visible to other registered users of the Learnify community.

5. Data Deletion & User Rights

You have the right to access or delete your personal data. You may delete your account directly within the app settings or by submitting a request via our support email or the deletion request URL provided in the app listing. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our active databases, though some content (like comments) may be anonymised for historical consistency.
