This Privacy Policy explains how ZYNTOOL PTE. LTD. ("LearnFolio", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the LearnFolio app and related services (the "Service"), including when you download it through Google Play.
LearnFolio is an educational and simulated-practice service for investment learning. It does not involve real-money trading. The Service may offer optional in-app purchases, which are processed entirely by Google through Google Play Billing (see Section 1).
We collect only the information necessary to provide the Service:
Account information. If you register an account, we collect your email address and the password you choose. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never readable by us in plain text. Your email address is used for account registration, sign-in, and service-related notices.
Basic device information. We collect a device identifier, device model, operating system version, app version, and basic technical logs (such as crash logs) to keep the Service running reliably.
Purchase confirmation information. If you make an in-app purchase, the payment itself is processed by Google through Google Play Billing, and we do not receive or store your payment card details. We may receive from Google Play the information necessary to deliver and manage your purchase, such as the product purchased, transaction identifier, purchase state, and purchase date.
We do not collect: your payment card, bank account, or other payment credentials (these are handled solely by Google during the purchase process), precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, health data, or any other special categories of personal information. The Service does not integrate advertising SDKs and does not sell or share your information with third parties for advertising purposes.
We use the information described above only to:
Create and authenticate your account when you register or sign in with your email;
Store your learning progress and simulated-practice records so they can sync to your account;
Process, deliver, and manage your purchases and subscriptions (based on purchase confirmation information received from Google Play), including handling related support and refund requests;
Keep the Service stable and secure, including diagnosing crashes and preventing unauthorized access and abuse; and
Send service-related communications, such as account verification, security notices, and required notices about changes to the Service.
We do not use your information to provide personalized investment advice.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only as follows:
Service providers. We use a limited number of trusted third-party vendors to operate the Service, such as cloud hosting and email delivery providers. These providers process information on our behalf and only as needed to deliver the Service.
Google Play. If you make a purchase or manage a subscription, the transaction is processed by Google and is subject to the Google Play terms and privacy policies.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LearnFolio, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
Account data is retained while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings in the app or through the account deletion channel provided on our official website. Deleting your account permanently erases your account data and associated cloud data and cannot be undone, except for information we must retain as required or permitted by law.
Purchase confirmation information is retained as necessary to deliver purchased features, manage subscriptions, process refunds, and comply with accounting and tax obligations.
Device and technical data is retained only for a limited period needed to keep the Service stable and secure, and is thereafter deleted.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:
Access, correct, or delete your personal information;
Export a copy of your personal information; and
Withdraw consent for consent-based processing, or lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
For users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, these rights are provided under the GDPR. For users in California, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request deletion, and we do not sell your personal information. For users in Singapore, you may access and correct your personal data or withdraw consent in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

LearnFolio is an educational service and is not directed to children under the age required to consent to data processing in your jurisdiction. If you are under that age, you should use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without the required verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information. We operate globally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including Singapore and countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or similar mechanisms, when transferring personal information internationally.
