Learn With SVIET  is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our free educational app collects, uses, and safeguards user information.

About Learn With SVIET

Learn With SVIET is an educational app created for students and faculty of SVIET B.Tech College. The app allows users to:

1.  Study and download B.Tech college subjects, lab manuals, question papers, and syllabus.

2. Watch subject-related YouTube videos via hyperlinks in PDFs.

3.  Access and login to their ECAP portal (login details are stored only on the user's device temporarily).

User Information

We do not collect, store, or share any personal information from users. No account creation or personal data input is required by the app itself.

Login and Local Storage

1.  ECAP login information is temporarily stored only on the user’s device  and automatically removed after a certain period.

2.  All downloaded study materials are stored in the app’s internal storage.

3. When the app is uninstalled, all downloaded materials are automatically deleted.

Permissions Used

Our app only uses the following permissions for essential functionality:

1.  Internet Access & Network State: To download materials and access ECAP.

2. Read/Manage External Storage, Access Media Location: To store PDFs downloaded by users.

3. These permissions are only activated when the user chooses to download materials from Firebase Database Storage.

4. The app requests runtime permission only once—when the user initiates a download action.

Third-Party Libraries and Services

We use the following third-party tools to enhance app functionality:

1. Android PDF Viewer: For viewing educational PDFs.

2. OkHttp: For handling secure file downloads.

3. Firebase: For secure storage, hosting, and database purposes.

4. College Website Link: Provided for ease of access to official college resources.

Children’s Privacy

Learn With SVIET is suitable for users under the age of 13. We do not collect any personal data from children or any other users.

Data Security

All interactions with our Firebase backend are encrypted. We do not log or transmit any data outside of the user's device unless explicitly done by the user (e.g., downloading a file).

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. No personal data is collected or transmitted through the app.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on an official linked platform.
