Grades K-3:
In Person or Virtual Meetings: Remote learning through Zoom, or small group socially distanced book club groups. I am COVID Vaccinated.
Weekday after school hours or vacation days
Book Club Group: Gather a group of your child’s friends for a 90-minute weekly adventure through reading and discussion. (Limit 6)
Individual Tutoring: 90-minute weekly sessions focusing on your child’s academic needs. (2-3 times per week)

Get to know your child’s academic and social needs
Set goals
Create a learning plan based on goals with lessons and materials
Set up a shared folder for learning goals, resources, and progress notes
Determine number of days and length of lessons for each week
What to expect:
FIRST SESSION WITH STUDENT:
My goal in the first session is to get to know your child’s likes and dislikes and begin informal assessments of academic needs.
TYPICAL SESSIONS:
Customized lessons for your child
Active engagement to motivate and respond to teacher’s questions
Interactive games and online resources to create a motivating learning environment
Variety of reading materials available for read aloud and silent reading
Level appropriate literature discussions incorporating listening and comprehension skills
In person sessions
Zoom capabilities for online lessons
Costs:
Book Club: $10.00 per student per hour
Individual Tutoring: $50.00 per hour
* Recommended: 2 sessions/week
